Completed several weeks of silent retreat, intensive Buddhist studies with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche (Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal), and a meditation teacher training with Lodro Rinzler.

  • Yale Good Life Center

    As a resident teacher at Yale’s Good Life Center, Raffaele teaches meditation practices to support emotional attunement, compassion, and non-judgement. He has also facilitated several multi-week series on burnout for environmental activists.

  • Gather East Rock

    Raffaele facilitated a weekly “Meditation & Tea Chat” community at Gather East Rock, a local cafe in New Haven. Over the course of the year, hundreds of locals came together to sit, connect, and discuss the ebbs and flows of their lives.

  • Yale Buddhist Sangha (Guest Teacher)

    Raffaele was invited as a guest teacher at Yale’s Buddhist Sangha in the Harkness Tower. He gave a dharma talk on the “Four Immeasurables” as they apply to the climate crisis and environmental degradation.
